School week
“I go to school 4 days a week.”
Children are welcomed from 8:30 to 8:45 am. Pick up is from 4.30 to 4.45 pm. Children have class 4 days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
As an option, the Pyramids Youth service can receive children with a family subscription to the Club on Wednesdays, on public holidays and during school holidays.
Meals
“I discover the pleasure of the eyes, flavours and sharing.”
Meals are a moment of conviviality and exchange. They are taken in the classroom with the Educator and the Assistant, with light music to create a harmonious and relaxing atmosphere. Children are empowered during this ritual of class life: on a rota basis they will be responsible for setting the table, serving water and bread, and cleaning up… like grown-ups!
Two formulas are proposed:
• Lunch box: children bring their meal
• Meals are provided by the school: (balanced and organic)
Afternoon nap
“As I sleep I grow better.”
Every child has specific needs. Some do not take naps at 2 years old, others still need them up to 5. Thus, naps will be offered to all children whose parents have indicated the need for their child to take a regular or punctual nap.
The nap schedule will be evolutionary. The nap room is fully equipped to allow excellent rest for every child.
Highlights of the day
“I fill my heart with beautiful memories.”
Many highlights are planned throughout the year: birthdays, Halloween, Candlemas, end-of-year show.
After-school
“School is over… Let’s play!”
After-school snack is served from 4:45 to 5:15 pm, it is balanced, organic and fresh. From 5:15 to 6:30 pm children play outdoor games, creative workshops or indoor games depending on the weather.
The school closes at precisely 6:30 pm.
Parents
“I am a positive influence on my child development.”
Conferences and workshops throughout the year will provide you with a better understanding and feeling for your child’s daily experiences, with an improved ability to support him in his Montessori education and with Positive Parenting to nurture your child’s development.
